    BSOD Need Help!

    Hi Guys,

Im having several problems with my laptop: LG R380 Windows 7 Home Premium 32Bit

I have 3 problems coming from my laptop namely BSOD, laptop freezes/hangs and laptop automatically turns off.

I guess I might have to solve the problem one at a time.

    So with BSOD 1st.

Its started with STOP: 0x000000D1 (para1,para1,para3,para4).

I searched for troubleshoots with this error code on the net and used them but the same BSOD still occurs.

So I chanced upon this forum and I think I have to post my memory dump details so that experts can comment on what exactly is the problem.

However, I have no idea how do I go about getting the memory dump details.

So can anyone direct me into getting the memory dump details?

    Help Much Appreciated!

    Addtitional Info
1)My laptop is currently in safe mode and I cannot access the internet with my laptop due to it being in safe mode
    2) My laptop has been odd this week as I started having BSOD last Sunday, tried troubleshooting on Monday and on Tuesday and Wednesday, the laptop manage to start Windows 7 normally after a few restarts and I am able to use it to web browse and play some games on Steam (Dota 2, Alien Swarm). However, today (Thursday), my laptop refuses to startup Windows 7 normally despite restarting a few times after it hanged/BSOD/auto turn off

    Hi Dsprague,

I think I have more of a BSOD problem then Windows Activating problem.

I am unable to download the MGADiag Tool from my laptop as it can't enter normal Windows 7.

I am aware of that, but your Bios predates windows 7, which unless you have a retail key would mean that you have a counterfeit install of windows and we do not support counterfeit copies of windows so I am simply trying to confirm that you have a legal copy of windows.

I have just tried restarting my laptop and start windows 7 normally. This time i get STOP: 0x000000FC instead of the normal 0x00000008. Things are getting more complex...

    Alright thanks for clarifying.

I also got this Windows error message regarding the 0x000000FE problem which I have copied it into a .txt file.
