Well it BSOD'd just now when I was writing an email. Running nothing in particular. I had a few crashes a couple weeks back when I tried to install AVG so I figured it was just the antivirus causing BSOD's like it had before. Now I just don't know again. Thanks for the continued help here Arc.

Some Ntfs corruptions are noticed ... but not showing any details.

Use driver verifier for one more time?

    Arc,

Ok, I've been running driver verifier for the last day and I haven't had a single BSOD. Not sure what to make of it really. I suppose there's nothing else I can do, right? Thanks for your continued help!

As far as I can say, if you format the HDD and start afresh, it will be the best option.

If you plan to do it, a nice guide is there: Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7

It will give you the perfect windows reinstall.

I have done a clean install before. Would doing it again really gain anything? It BSOD'd again when I got home, maybe this batch will help explain. Thanks, Arc.

It is a stop 0x3B BSOD, which is sticky type of nature. Caused by drivers mainly, and as the BSOD is not showing any particular reason, I am suggesting you to go for a clean reinstall. If not, enable Driver Verifier to monitor the drivers and expect that it may show any cause of the BSODs. .
Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable
Run Driver Verifier for 24 hours or the occurrence of the next crash, whichever is earlier.

       Information
    Why Driver Verifier:
It puts a stress on the drivers, ans so it makes the unstable drivers crash. Hopefully the driver that crashes is recorded in the memory dump.

How Can we know that DV is enabled:
It will make the system bit of slow, laggy.

       Warning
Before enabling DV, make it sure that you have earlier System restore points made in your computer. You can check it easily by using CCleaner looking at Tools > System Restore.

If there is no points, make a System Restore Point manually before enabling DV.

       Tip

Let us know the results, with the subsequent crash dumps, if any. Post it following the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions.

    Arc,

It's been quite some time since I've posted on this thread. Thanks again for all your previous work.

Unfortunately the BSOD's have returned. It used to be that they would only occur about once or twice a month and I just sort of dealt with it. It wasn't 100% perfect, but it was much, much better after working with you and following all your suggestions and steps.

As of the last few months they've become much more frequent, to the point now that I'm reaching out for help again. It's gotten to where it happens almost daily again. I just don't know what's wrong with this build. Attached is the .zip with all info. Thanks for all your help again and hopefully we can get this cleared up once and for all. Cheers

    Arc,

    I did a re-install of Windows when we were troubleshooting this a bit back. It didn't solve the problem then, but If you think that it's worth doing it again, I'll do it. I just hate going through that process. :}

In the mean time, I've been running driver verifier for the last 3 hours or so and I haven't had a BSOD yet. I followed all directions on how to turn it on, but sometimes I feel like I'm missing something because it doesn't seem like it's running in the background. Computer isn't sluggish or anything really. Is there any way to verify that I have it going on in the background after it prompts for the user to restart?

Thanks for the quick reply and patience with me not reading your previous post regarding reinstall/vierfier. Cheers!
