    Free up the startup.
    Click on the Start button
    Type msconfig then click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
    Select the Startup tab.

    Apply > OK
    Accept then restart.

    Run SFC to check the integrity of all Windows 7 system files:

    Click on the Start > Type in search cmd

    im having a hard time finding those drivers or whatthey are in my device manager. When i put it in a driver database, or a driver lookup and paste them after the hardware id, its still showing me no shown results.

    Also for the ASUS sound card, that is the latest driver.

    I've since updated my PC hardware then the one you see in my specs. I now have an I73930K would that same link work?

    Let's see what bios version you're running on


    Open up command prompt by clicking on type CMD inside Search programs and files . Press [ENTER]

    In command prompt enter the following

    systeminfo | find "BIOS Version:"
       Note

    The | pipe symbol can be found using SHIFT + \ (just above the [ENTER] key)
