Remove:

Having difficulty navigating the renesas website. and cant find it at all on gigabyte.

Do you know what revision your motherboard is? It should be your motherboard documentation or somewhere printed on your motherboard, and be like Rev x.x

Try the latest driver within the driver section of the page, and then update if you have any problems, it may be best to create a System Restore point or a Image before updating.
