BSOD - page_fault_in_nonpaged_area (after installing Age Of Empires 2)

    Seem to be having a problem with vmt. It ran to one pass and returned an error so I started it again and this time it didn't even get one pass. Here's what it says:

    WARNING: Your card can be not compatible with this test! If multiple errors will found, try test with onscreen buffer usage or wthout of ignoring colors bit mask.

    hmm...odd try running OCCT for the video memory test see if that works:

    NVIDIA/AMD Video Card - Test with OCCT

    Start with test 2 in the tutorial, the download link for the program is at the top of the tutorial.

    Tried running test 2 and after clicking the on button, it counts to 3 seconds and then says "User abort" at the top (note: I didn't click anywhere on the screen or interrupt it in any way)

    It sounds like you may have some bad memory in your GPU, though I could be wrong I will see if I can get a hardware expert to take a look.

    Ok thanks. Although GPU has been working fine lately, haven't seen any hitches in games like Bioshock Infinite or Battlefield 3, even when running on high settings.

    hmm... perhaps we should wait for the results of the other tests as well. Keep us updated as you complete each task.
