Crashing, BSoD; Memory_Management, PFN_List_Corrupt and loads more!

    Specs:
    Asus P8Z68-V PRO
    Intel Core I5 2500k
    GTX 560Ti
8GB Corsair 1333mhhz [4gb now! (due to the issues below)]
    120gb OCZ agility
1TB Samsung something or other (really slow)
    1TB Western digital cavier black
    CM GX 650W.

First off, I get the errors Memory_Management, PFN_List_Corrupt quite frequently, which I think is to do with the memory and or drivers.

Also in games such as BF3 and Crysis after a bit (depends on the settings) it totally freezes, this happens literally every single time, and sometimes makes a horrible noise which sounds like the sound it should make but repeated millions of times a second if you get what I mean. It only seems to do this in these CPU/Ram and Graphically intensive games. Once it has completely frozen I need to restart from the case.

I also have another issue which isn't too serious, but may have something to do with this, every now and again the computer has jittering/freezing issues, for example I move my mouse it freezes (and makes funny sounds when frozen) and then it unfreezes where it's supposed to be, it does this a few time and then calms down, the sound it makes is what it sounds like sometimes when it freezes in BF3.

Sometimes it seems to go to BSoD when based more in CPU and Ram intensive things such as in some games and something like After Effects.

    More info if needed:
Recently changed from HDD to SSD problems still occur after change and before and 2 days ago I got a CPU heatsink, my Power Supply also seems to make the most noise and is loud in gaming.

I thank anyone deeply if they can help this problem is really bad now it crashes at least once a day. maybe it might skip a day or two if I'm lucky

Hi Uniq and welcome to SF,

Firstly can you reconfigure windows to collect the correct info
    You want "Mini-Dumps"

Dump Files - Configure Windows to Create on BSOD

Also here are the instructions for posting:

Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions

Also if you are overclocking please reset to default.

    Cheers

Done what you said, Remember I've changed from HDD to SSD so I'm sure it's nothing to do with drivers or software and more to do with my hardware, but I'm not ruling it out.

Also I recently overclocked (3 days ago as I just got a cooler) so that shouldn't be the problem either because I've been in this trouble for over a year. My GPU is also factory OC.

Set my computer to produce "Small Dumps" was on Kernal, not sure why.

    Hi Uniq,

    Thanks for the info.

Looks like (as you said) that these crashes were caused by some memory corruption.

    https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html

Run for 8 passes and test each stick in a know good slot for an additional 6 passes.
The goal is to test all the RAM sticks and all the motherboard slots.
Check your motherboard manual to ensure the RAM sticks are in the recommended motherboard slots. Some motherboards have very specific slots required for the number of RAM sticks installed.
If you get errors, stop the test and continue with the next step.
    1. Remove all but one stick of RAM from your computer (this will be RAM stick #1), and run Memtest86 again, for 7 passes.
*Be sure to note the RAM stick, use a piece of tape with a number, and note the motherboard slot.
If this stick passes the test then go to step #3.
    2. If RAM stick #1 has errors, repeat the test with RAM stick #2 in the same motherboard slot.
*If RAM stick #2 passes, this indicates that RAM stick #1 may be bad. If you want to be absolutely sure, re-test RAM stick #1 in another known good slot.
*If RAM stick #2 has errors, this indicates another possible bad RAM stick, a possible motherboard slot failure or inadequate settings.
    3. Test the next stick of RAM (stick #2) in the next motherboard slot.
*If this RAM stick has errors repeat step #2 using a known good stick if possible, or another stick.
*If this RAM stick has no errors and both sticks failed in slot#1, test RAM stick #1 in this slot.
    4. If you find a stick that passes the test, test it in all the other motherboard slots.
If Part 2 testing shows errors, and all tests in Part 3 show errors, you will need to test the RAM sticks in another computer and/or test other RAM in your computer to identify the problem.
In this way, you can identify whether it is a bad stick of RAM, a bad motherboard, or incompatibility between the sticks.
Also please run SFC to check the integrity of all Windows 7 system files:

Click on the Start > Type in search cmd
Right click cmd at top and Run as Administrator
Type SFC /scannow at the prompt

    https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html

Also please run malwarebytes (to eliminate that as a possible cause):

    Warning
Do not start the free trial of Malware Bytes; remember to deselect that option when prompted.

    Malwarebytes : Free anti-malware download

Cheers, please post back result if any

Okay, I'll try and do the scans within the week and get back to you, I'm just wondering, may heat cause the Ram to crash, my case is well ventilated but when I felt the Ram it felt very hot, not sure how much heat it can withstand.

It's been some time, but I think I've found my solution, I haven't had any crashes in a while.

Firstly I moved the sticks to other slots, and I still got crashes, then I removed one of the sticks and after everything seemed fine, no BSoD's yet, buuut, in battlefield I'm still getting an old problem, sometimes, depends, my computer completely freezes after about 15 minutes of gameplay, where then I have to switch it off/restart from the button. I'm guessing again this is a hardware problem as this has happened while on my HDD, I repaired my install some time ago and had no luck, and when I switched to my SSD I had a complete new install, have updated PB, new drivers (have tried multiple drivers)

    Hi Uniq,
Good news at no BSOD's after Ram removal. :)
Sorry to hear you still have problems with game, but it seems your issue is not unncommon!!:

    BF3 keeps freezing s - Forums - Battlelog / Battlefield 3

You could try suggested fix below, please scroll down after fix as there are many other suggestions:

    Battlefield 3: Crash Fix

So perhaps its just the game that has bugs, can you run other games without problems?

    Hope this helps
    Cheers

I know, the game has a lot of problems with crashing with other peoples computers, but I can't find anyone with the exact same problem as mine. I'll play for 15 mins, and then it'll suddenly completely freeze my hole computer, I can't do anything at all, and the only way to get out of it is to switch it off or restart my computer from the buttons on the computer.

I seem to remember this happened with Crysis 2 a couple of times, but apart from them two I've not had it on any other game. I'll check whether it happens on crysis and get back to you. Thanks for the reply!

EDIT: Just when I thought all was going well I just had a BSoD. It was during BF3 which I still go on because I love it even though it crashed like every 10 mins. I didn't see what the BSoD was though I have the dump from it which is attached if you can diagnose anything from it?

    Hi Uniq,

    DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION (c4)
A device driver attempting to corrupt the system has been caught. This is
because the driver was specified in the registry as being suspect (by the
administrator) and the kernel has enabled substantial checking of this driver.
If the driver attempts to corrupt the system, bugchecks 0xC4, 0xC1 and 0xA will
be among the most commonly seen crashes
    Please disable Driver Verifier.

    https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/101379-driver-verifier-enable-disable.html

Also your latest crash refers to Nvidia Video Drivers:

    fffff880`0a83dc38 fffff880`04ae0ae5Unable to load image nvlddmkm.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for nvlddmkm.sys

    Problem driver: nvlddmkm.sys Sat Dec 29 06:47:52 2012 (50DE9218)

Select option 2 from the following site, there should be a newer driver available:

    http://www.nvidia.co.uk/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-uk

Once installed post back if you experience any further crashes.

    Cheers

Arrggh, another BSOD, have the minidump for it, really getting annoyed :/ I disabled Driver verifier but it said no settings have changed or something because it was already disabled, and I've updated my graphics card drivers now.

Minidump attachment below if it's any help.
