    Welcome aboard, BlueSOD.

Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120% (or any other version) and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known BSOD causer. Uninstall Alcohol at first. Then download SPTD standalone installer from Disk-Tools.com, and execute the downloaded file as guided below :

    • Double click to open it.
    • Click this button only:
    • If it is grayed out, as in the picture, there is no more SPTD in your system, and you just close the window.

Free up the startup. Windows does not need any other program to auto start with it, but the auto start programs often conflicts and causes various problems including BSODs.

    1. Click on the Start button
    2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
    3. Select the “Startup” tab.
    4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus.
    5. Apply > OK
    6. Accept then restart.

Update your ATI/AMD display driver. Get the latest WHQL.
You can get it from the link in our forum, Latest AMD Catalyst Video Driver for Windows 7, or you may go to AMD Graphics Driver and Software and opt for Automatically Detect and Install the appropriate driver for your card.

During installation, you may opt for advanced installation, and install the display driver only, not the Catalyst Control Center.

    Let us know the results.

    REFERENCE_BY_POINTER (18)
    Arguments:
Arg1: 852b3660, Object type of the object whose reference count is being lowered
Arg2: 87d75988, Object whose reference count is being lowered
    Arg3: 00000001, Reserved
    Arg4: 00000001, Reserved
The reference count of an object is illegal for the current state of the object.
Each time a driver uses a pointer to an object the driver calls a kernel routine
to increment the reference count of the object. When the driver is done with the
pointer the driver calls another kernel routine to decrement the reference count.
Drivers must match calls to the increment and decrement routines. This bugcheck
can occur because an object's reference count goes to zero while there are still
open handles to the object, in which case the fourth parameter indicates the number
of opened handles. It may also occur when the object’s reference count drops below zero
whether or not there are open handles to the object, and in that case the fourth parameter
contains the actual value of the pointer references count.

Thanks for the welcome and help :).

I did what you said and
    already uninstalled Alchohol and SPTD

AMD Autodetect software detected that I have the latest graphics driver.

I'm hoping that the BSOD won't happen again. It only happens once a day so I will check if it will not crash tommorow.

    Thank you :)

It appears that AMD autodetect failed here .... there is a very latest update.
