BSOD constantly at various levels of computer usage
Hi all,
I'm new to the forum so hopefully I've posted this properly. I also don't know much of the ins and outs of computers but can follow instructions.
My issue: I recently updated my graphics driver from ver.310 to ver.314 and since then my computer's been restarting itself at various times. The graphics driver my not be the source of the problem but it just was the time when the issue began. Since then I've done various system restores and also one system reformat on instructions from another troubleshooting mission (have been to many forums prior to this).
Some times my computer will force restart before the log in screen appears, sometimes after i've logged in but before I've opened programs, sometimes once I've been browsing the web for 5 mins, and sometimes after 4 hours. It is really random and as it's happened so often I haven't thought to log each time (i'm in the middle of uni semester and haven't had the time to fully investigate the issue so i've just gone with it for the moment).
Sometimes the screen goes black, then reappears, and it says the graphics driver stopped working. More often than not though it'll just shut down and start it's cycle of restarting multiple times (sometimes without even being able to turn back on and me having to force shut down and walk away for an hr).
I've attached the zip file as per instructions and I hope I've given the right information. Am happy to answer any other questions to the best of my ability.
Many thanks!
