The GPU is about 2 months old. I have reset the BIOS, am working through the rest.

    That's good.
Noticed any artifacts during the stress test?

my GPU is quite new, only about 4 months. the stress test leveled at 70C after 15 minutes and speccy didn't show any overheating as far as i'm aware (pic attatched). something interesting to note though, my motherboard seems to have and onboard GPU. however, when i try to install the VGA drivers from the download site (ASRock > Products > Motherboard > H67M-GE > Download) it comes up with "you do not meet the minimum requirements", even though I definitely do. the installer is an intel HD graphics installer, is this helps. I cannot find anything about the onboard GPU in any of the driver lists either. could this be causing my problems?

just realised i forgot to attach photo also, i have removed my main graphics card and am running graphics through the on board one. the installer worked fine when i did this, so disregard the above. will let you know if this crashes.

Check out the CPU cooler fins and fan, 60C isn't dangerous, but should be in the 35-40C range unless you're doing something using a lot of CPU cycles.

this was after 2-3 hours of playing guild wars on high settings, unsure if this uses lots of cycles. it tends to settle around 30 when I'm not gaming on it.
