    After eight hours of running DV the computer produced a BSOD (please see attached).
    Let me know if you need more information about my testing conditions.

    The temperatures are quite acceptable, with extended Starcraft 2 gaming the CPU reaches low 80's, and GPU low 70's, and Intel PCH (chipset) 91 C

    Those temperatures are not acceptable and are higher than the critical temperature of thee system. You need to keep the system cool. And, your BSODs are not a driver issue.
    It is Driver verifier enabled ...
    Code:
    DEFAULT_BUCKET_ID:  VERIFIER_ENABLED_VISTA_MINIDUMP
    Still it is showing Pool Corruption as the cause of the BSOD.
    Code:
    *******************************************************************************
    *                                                                             *
    *                        Bugcheck Analysis                                    *
    *                                                                             *
    *******************************************************************************

    Use !analyze -v to get detailed debugging information.

    BugCheck 3B, {c0000005, fffff80002fbef13, fffff8800d332cd0, 0}

    Probably caused by : Pool_Corruption ( nt!ExDeferredFreePool+1570 )

    Followup: Pool_corruption
    ---------
    Which is not normal, and ruling out the chance of being a driver fault only.

    Laptops are never gaming platforms on a serious basis, how costly it may be. The congested build is not heat and ventilation friendly. It will overheat and will crash in BSOD. Still, afford a cooling pad. Use it while gaming or using the laptop over a long time. It might make the situation a bit better.

    If the temperatures were for a desktop computer, then I would be concerned. However, laptop parts are rated for operation at higher temperatures compared to desktops.

    The temperatures are well within manufacturer specs and not as hot as other laptops of similar caliber. CPU is rated for 100 C, the GT 555M is 90 C (if I remember correctly) and the PCH for 110 C (discussion on various forums).

    If it were a hardware fault, what component(s) does this corruption point to?

    Stay a few days not playing games like SC2 and see if it crashes anymore or not.

    It points to one thing I am feeling, the laptop is not made for those games.
