Rare BSOD on Windows login, minidump attached.

    Hello,

I've run into what seems to be a random BSOD as soon as I successfully log into Windows on a fresh install of Windows 7 x64. It has happened several times now in the last 5 or so days. I've attached the minidump file if someone can take a peek and give me a hint as to what might be causing it, that would be great. :)

    Specs are as follows:

    Windows 7 x64 (fresh install)
    Asus M5A97 Mobo.
    AMD FX-8150 @stock speeds
    AMD HD 7950 @stock speeds.
    2x4gb G.Skill RAM

I have been running this hardware for sometimes with no problems until now.

    Thanks,

    - Josh

According to the dump file you provided there are issues with ALSysIO64.sys and atikmdag.sys. The ALSysIO64 driver is the Core Temp - CPU temperature monitor and the atikmdag driver is for the ATI Video driver. These links give update information. Also, in the interest of full disclosure, I edited the dump file to a more manageable size.

    Driver Reference Table - ALSysIO64.sys

    Driver Reference Table - atikmdag.sys

Thank you very much marsmimar, I had a feeling that it may be due to Core Temp.
