Frequent BSODs & crashes when playing games, or just internet browsing

Hi, recently my computer has been crashing or BSODing after 5-10 minutes of gameplay, on lots different titles (Planetside 2, Garry's Mod, Grand Theft Auto IV, theHunter, Red Orchestra 2). Planetside 2 and theHunter were never able to run correctly, but months and months ago I was able to play the rest without any problems. When playing less demanding games (Game Dev Tycoon), or just browsing the internet, these problems are very rare.

    I am running:

    • Intel Core i5 3570k
    • 6 GB Dual-Channel DDR3 RAM
    • ASUS P8Z77-V Motherboard
    • Radeon HD 6950 2GB
    • 932 GB Seagate Harddrive
    • Windows 7 x64 Service Pack 1

I've tried uninstalling drivers, using Driver Sweeper, and reinstalling, but I don't think that helped. I've also flashed my BIOS to the most recent version, but again, I don't think that made a difference.

I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

    Hi,
    Unfortunately the installation is non-genuine.
The Key is that of a Dell OEM computer - and the motherboard is a retail one by Asus.

The best course of action is to:
    • Purchase a legitimate Windows 7 licence.
    • Format the HDD.
    • Reinstall Windows and activate.
