Wireless adapter again, failed when sleep.

But at the same time, Lenovo Doze Mode HDD control is also failing.
    Code:
    fffff800`00b9c540 fffff880`01f5b248Unable to load image \SystemRoot\System32\DRIVERS\DzHDD64.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for DzHDD64.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for DzHDD64.sys
     DzHDD64+0x3248
This is a factory bloatware. May be those Lenovo preinstalled programs are causing all the troubles there? I'd recommend you to Clean Up Factory Bloatware, with a special reference to Point #13
    13. Consider a Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 which is often better than getting a new computer considering how pre-installed bloatware can corrupt Windows 7 even if it's completely cleaned up.

    Hi Arc,
One additional question though. I work full day (connected via WiFi), at the end of the day I try to set laptop to Sleep, it freezes, so I put it in the backpack and go home. What happens in the meantime - after being freezed the laptop dumps, restarts, and since I am not using it after restart - it actually goes to Sleep ok. So when I open it at home, it is in Sleep mode, it starts ok and shows the newly booted system.
It happened today, and it happened several times before.
So, there must be something wrong either with the programs that I am using during the day (and mainly those are Office, internet browser and similar), or with the type of WiFi connection, that prevents the Sleep mode and causes dump. Since when I am putting to Sleep the freshly started system, it goes to Sleep with no problem.
I think with the explanation that you provided earlier the laptop would have a problem going to Sleep all the time. But in my case the problem is only when I spend the whole day at work...
I am not sure if I explain clearly, please let me know if more info is needed from my side.
And thanks again for helping out!

    OK, let me explain?

Your issue is Driver Power State Failure. Technically it happens only when you put the computer to sleep, or you get it out of sleep. Why it happens? Coz, a Device object blocks an IRP for too long time.

In your issue, the IRP is
    Code:
Irp is active with 4 stacks 2 is current (= 0xfffffa800e339c58)
No Mdl: No System Buffer: Thread 00000000: Irp stack trace.
cmd flg cl Device File Completion-Context
     [ 0, 0] 0 0 00000000 00000000 00000000-00000000

                Args: 00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000
    >[ 16, 2] 0 0 fffffa800a259050 00000000 00000000-00000000
Unable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\Netwsw00.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for Netwsw00.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for Netwsw00.sys
     \Driver\NETwNs64
It represents to Intel® Wireless WiFi Link Adapter.

    And the Device object is:
    Code:
    Device object (fffffa800a25b7a0) is for:
InfoMask field not found for _OBJECT_HEADER at fffffa800a25b770
     \Driver\vwifibus DriverObject fffffa800a1532b0
    Current Irp 00000000 RefCount 0 Type 00000017 Flags 00002010
    DevExt fffffa800a266b20 DevObjExt fffffa800a25b918
    ExtensionFlags (0x00000800) DOE_DEFAULT_SD_PRESENT
    Characteristics (0x00000100) FILE_DEVICE_SECURE_OPEN
    AttachedTo (Lower) fffffa800a259050 \Driver\NETwNs64
    Device queue is not busy.
So it all suspects to the Intel(R) Centrino(R) Wireless-N 1000.

For a laptop, sleep is essential for the battery. We may try updating the driver that is failing. When it is still behaving the same, we have to check for some other things. As in my last post, some factory bloatware are supposing to fail contemporary. Let us remove them first, and see if it is behaving the same or not?

If still it is doing the same, we have to alter the sleep-hibernation settings.

Other programs dont have a bearing on this particular issue that much, specially those which are not being used continuously. So stop the programs to be used continuously. Free up the startup. Windows does not need any other program to auto start with it, but the auto start programs often conflicts and causes various problems including BSODs.

    1. Click on the Start button
    2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
    3. Select the “Startup” tab.
    4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus and the touchpad driver, SynTPEnh.
    5. Apply > OK
    6. Accept then restart.

Let us take it have a try. Clean up the startup, and use the computer for one more day. See if there are any changes or not. If not, get ready to do a Clean Up Factory Bloatware.

Arc, many thanks for the detailed answer! I will do as you suggest. I have updated the wireless driver to the latest version just now, and I also deselected many of the autostart options. I will see whether there are any changes and let you know the outcome.
    Once again - thanks!

Not many, but all other than the antivirus and touchpad driver.

Not a single one more is needed there. Touchpad driver is needed for functionality, and antivirus is needed for safety.

For the rest, the are nicely installed in your computer. You can call them anytime, from Start> all programs. Removing them from startup will not loss anything, but will save you from the problems those setting may cause.

ok, point taken, will do. One additional question: since the problem is with Wireless adapter, do I get it right that in case I disable WiFi (like turn it off with the switch) before going to Sleep, the laptop should Sleep with no problem?

That will be a worthy try :)
