    BSOD While playing Black Ops 2


    Hello! this BSOD started when i started to use my PS3 controller to play call of duty black ops 2 on my computer. every time when my controller disconnect from my computer and gets connection back it will throw me to BSOD i dont know why, so thats why im here. i need some help :) and it will throw me to BSOD too when my controller is not disconnected and connected back.

    Well i downloaded and installed ati drivers and now when i start black ops 2 i dont get black screen anymore it will to straight into the game but when i click to play online it will try to get connection into online servers and then my black ops 2 crashes. and before that i got BSOD once when i started black ops 2.

    i can play with mouse and keyboard but when i use controller i get BSOD and i cant connect to online servers.

    Hi,

    Are you refering to the XBox USB wireless controller?
    Have you updated the driver yet?

    Follow the rest of the analysis please.

    Im using PS3 controller but you must pick XBOX Controller in motionjoy DS3 tool so i can play with controller so i dont use XBOX controller. and i use cable. its not wireless

    You still need to update the XBOX driver as is known to cause issues.

    Also update the rest of the drivers mentioned and run memtest

    I think this solved my problem i just intalled motionjoy again and no BSOD anymore :)

    Good news, glad I could help :) I would still update the other drivers / programs as they might
    still cause issues.
