Visit malwarebytes.com and download install and scan that system with it.

No antivirus is Windows PC suicide if connected to the internet.

Looked mobo up and it was pretty sweet back in 2007:

I suspect problem with BIOS upgrades is due to what looks like XFXforce getting out of the motherboard making business a while ago and being that old, way out of any life cycle requirement of support.

Here is the drivers suite from Nvidia though:

I'd at least install it's scanner to see if one is available.

So I got an antivirus and did a full scan and no viruses.
For some reason the uninstaller for that Driver won't work, something about it being a 32-bit uninstaller.
I have no idea how to manually uninstall all these drivers for that motherboard driver.

Get this and run the registry piece:

CCleaner - Standard

CCleaner above in it's Tools, first item is Uninstall, I would look there for anything related to chipset drivers and uninstall.
[such as nforce]

If nothing, I'd go ahead and try installing that 15.xx suite any way.

So I did that and couldn't find anything chipset related in the list.
And the driver won't let me install it until I uninstall the previous version.
