EnzoRo, create a new folder on your desktop and name it whatever you want. Download and install GPUz. Open GPUz and post a screenshot of the opening page (Screenshots and Files - Upload and Post in Seven Forums) then click the sensor tab, at the bottom click log to file, a search box will open. Navigate to the folder you just created on your desktop and select it. Minimize GPUz and run Furmark again. Zip the new folder on your desktop once you crash and upload it here.

    Alright so furmark actually worked:

essenbe, I installed CPUZ and this came up (first I closed it, but the message is essentially the same:

    Afterwards cpuz shows:

WIll run the test again and see what the log file comes up with.

    Thank you so much!

OK, so I did that, I left furmark running for like half an hour and it was fine. I stopped it and right after I stopped it, it crashed with the flickery screen as shown before.

Log from GPUZ is attachedAttachment 268984

Did you do any of the stuff I suggested in Post #8? I have another system with a 6950 in it and what furmark shows from the test seem to be exactly what they should be. But, because it passed Furmark does not me your computer will quit crashing. We still have not detected what the cause was. Also, the error message in GPUz means your OpenCL drivers crashed and are disabled, I think. You may want to enable them. Also, try running some of the tests that were recommended before. Do you have Steam enabled to be run on startup? Several of the crashes say it was Steam that crashed, which can also mean other things than Steam was the problem, but worth investigating.

I don't see anything in the log that shows a problem.

So, I guess that GPU can't be the main culprit then?

I completely missed post #8 sorry about that, and again, thank you for your time and help. I run gpuz again, and now it marks openCL. I installed the drivers again as if they were new not more than a couple of hours ago.

I checked the BIOS and put it to factory settings (though I don't think I've touched much in there...)
    +12V=12.28
    +5v=5.080
    +3.3V=3.39

I guess I still have the ram to test, which I will do overnight (though I don't think so because I have used 2 different sets and no difference)

Try the GPU in a different PCIe slot.

Remember when you run memtest86+, run it by the instructions. Each stick in each slot for 8 passes. You are checking the ram sticks and the Dimm slots also.

That I haven't tried Britton30. I'll get on it tomorrow after work. Thank you for your suggestion.

OK, so I left each stick running all night and then all day while I was at work, that's 8 passes each, and that's no errors whatsoever. I guess next step is checking the CPU then!

Thank you all for your patience and support!
