    Computer randomly freezes and BSODs

Around a month ago, my computer started behaving very strangely: my computer freezes (and stops responding) on random occasions. The frerezes happen very often (every 5-30 minutes usually), and from time to time the computer BSODs, showing error with the file "nvlddmkm.sys" (that happens every 5-10 freezes or so). There is no certain program that makes it crash, but I have managed to discover some details that may show the source of the problem:

1.The computer never crashes or BSODs when using Safe Mode (I left the computer once open 1-2 weeks in a row in safe mod, used photoshop, used internet, and no freeze/BSOD happened until I manually turned it off).
2.The Event Viewer shows a sequence of 3 errors, a warning and 3 more errors every time the computer freezes and I force it to restart.
3.I ran Memtest for 3 passes, with no errors showing (I left it during the night, but when I woke up the computer was off, and I don't know why was it and if errors were detected).
4.There are 2 things that always cause the computer to freeze: one is updating the "Windows Experience Index", in the part where the graphic capabilities are bieng tested, and the other is a Furmark test, that immediately when started brings the GPU load to 99% and always runs at 2-5 FPS.
5.It certainly has something to do with the graphics: the problem started with my old graphics card, which I replaced with a new one; The NVIDIA "nvlddmkm.sys" is being mentioned in all bluescreens; The actins that always cause a freeze have to do with graphics.
6.I checked the computer's temperatures when under stress, and they are always low (highest recorded temperature of the GPU was 57 degrees celcius during a Furmark test).
7.I have updated (clean installation), removed, intralled an old version and updated the GPU driver. None of these steps solved my problem.
8.I used Whocrashed to try and understand the cause of the BSOD. The conclusion:
Bug check description: This indicates that an attempt to reset the display driver and recover from a timeout failed.
A third party driver was identified as the probable root cause of this system error. It is suggested you look for an update for the following driver: nvlddmkm.sys (NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 320.18 , NVIDIA Corporation).
2 crash dumps have been found and analyzed. A third party driver has been identified to be causing system crashes on your computer. It is strongly suggested that you check for updates for these drivers on their company websites. Click on the links below to search with Google for updates for these drivers:

nvlddmkm.sys (NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 320.18 , NVIDIA Corporation)
The computer is not over/underclocked (and maybe I should try underclocking?). OS is Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1.
I have uploaded a RAR with dumpfile, and added the picture of the bluescreen, the Event Viewer report (that shows the errors-warning-errors sequence of the freezes) and the GPU-Z report, that ran while I tried to update the Experience Index (until the computer froze).

It is a stop 0x116 BSOD, which is Graphics/display related.

Your display driver is the latest one. If the BSOD started to occur after updating to display driver to latest, try to roll it back to the earlier version that worked good there.
Device Manager - Roll Back Driver

Stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark.
Video Card - Stress Test with Furmark

Check if the Power Supply Unit (PSU) supplying adequate power to the computer or not.

At least 30% extra is safe.

Is the computer hot? Report us the heat of the computer after a couple of hours of your normal usage. Upload a screenshot of the summery tab of Speccy.

Seeing the BIOS date, assuming that the computer is an old one. In that case it is better you dismantle it and clean the inside carefully. Specially clean the air vents and fan grills so that it can blow the hot air out easily. When re-seating, apply thermal paste to the CPU.

Let us know the situation when done.

    Hi.
Before seeing your message I have tested another possible solution - I changed the location of the GPU on the motherboard to a 2nd slot. It seems to work - the slot was probably damaged along with the old graphics card.
The problem is solved - thank you very much for you help!
