Weird spate of issues, recently 0x000001E
Well my newly hand built dual processor SR-2 machine has been flawless from the day I've built it, untill torward the middle of this month.
Random restarting (with no BSOD, and yes, I've turned Automatic Restart off) and this BSOD (first time I've seen this particular error code, and after I rebooted from having the BSOD, the dialog box that says "Windows has recovered from an encountered error" appeared)
No other BSOD's recently, it is mostly the random restarting that has got me worried...
The BSOD happened during playing Star Wars: The Old Republic. Interestingly enough, if I recall about 3 random restarts (not all in the same day but spread out since the 14th of this month if I remember) also happened during playing this game. Other times the random restarts would be, as said, random. During browsing/listening to music, etc. Before the 14th the system has been completely stable and I am so happy with it... The OC is stable, I highly doubt it is the OC as I've ran Folding At Home (which uses all 16 threads to 100%) for 6+ hours, I edit videos in Adobe Premier Pro which also uses a lot of resources for hours as well, with no random restarts. This is why I doubt it is the PSU or the OC, unless something can degrade from OCing in 3 months
They're VERY intermittent random restarts, a week ago I went 2 days without having one, other times they'll happen only once a day...
Other things I've done in an attempt to restore stability
Ran Memtest86, no errors.
Ran Western Digital's Data Lifeguard Diagnostic on my main OS HDD, Extended Test, No Errors, passed Smart Test as well, no errors.
Uninstalled and reinstalled newest nVidia drivers, no change.
Plugged the PC into the actual wall, to see if the power strip may have been the cause - still randomly restarts.
Changed out the SATA cable on my main OS HDD, with no luck.
Bought a Thermaltake Dr. Power II, haven't got around to actually testing the PSU yet, but it is a Corsair AX1200, if it's the PSU I will be shocked.
It is not heat, either, as the processors cores run from 18-35C idle, to ~55C at full load.
...
Thank you so much for your assistance, I've been all over the internet and have had no luck solving my random restarting... and if this is the wrong place for this topic I apologize.
