BSOD playing any games, error 0x000000F4

My computer has been randomly BSODing during any game at random times. Sometimes it does it around the 20 minute mark or it doesn't do it at all that day.

    Hello 007Hydra.

You have SPTD installed. And as usual it is failing.
    Code:
    fffff880`06991918 fffff880`01093192Unable to load image \SystemRoot\System32\Drivers\sptd.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for sptd.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for sptd.sys
     sptd+0x41192
Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known BSOD causer. Uninstall the program at first. Then download SPTD standalone installer from Disk-Tools.com, and execute the downloaded file as guided below :

    • Double click to open it.
    • Click this button only:
    • If it is grayed out, as in the picture, there is no more SPTD in your system, and you just close the window.

For a better analysis, we need the MSINFO32.nfo file.

The ATI display driver is failing, too.
    Code:
    fffff880`069922f8 fffff880`02f0b25fUnable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\atikmpag.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for atikmpag.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for atikmpag.sys
     atikmpag+0x625f
And it is not the latest version.
    Code:
    fffff880`02f05000 fffff880`02f64000 atikmpag T (no symbols)
        Loaded symbol image file: atikmpag.sys
        Image path: \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\atikmpag.sys
        Image name: atikmpag.sys
        Timestamp: Sat Nov 17 01:09:13 2012 (50A69661)
        CheckSum: 00058D88

    Update your ATI/AMD display driver.
You can get it from the link in our forum, Latest AMD Catalyst Video Driver for Windows 7, or you may go to AMD Graphics Driver and Software and opt for Automatically Detect and Install the appropriate driver for your card.

During installation, you may opt for advanced installation, and install the display driver only, not the Catalyst Control Center.

Some keyboard/mouse elements are failing, too. But for obtaining more information about it, we need the aforesaid MSINFO32.nfo file.

There are some reasons to suspect a memory failure (RAM or GPU).

Test your RAM modules for possible errors.
How to Test and Diagnose RAM Issues with Memtest86+
Run memtest for at least 8 passes, preferably overnight.

Stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark.
Video Card - Stress Test with Furmark

The BIOS is too old. That also cause some issues, for sure.
    Code:
    BiosVersion = F8
    BiosReleaseDate = 02/24/2009
Plan to update it. Take the Version F10, dated 2010/02/09 from GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 775 - GA-EP45-UD3P (rev. 1.1)

Also, apparently it appears that you dont use the Intel storage controller drivers. I haven't got the stress of intel drivers in any of your dumps.
    Attachment 270228
I think we need to see some more information to suggest you anything about the storage controller drivers. We need to know the storage controller mode in ues.

I would suggest you to upload your MSINFO32.nfo file.

    1. Click on the start button
    2. Type "msinfo32" (without quotes) in the search bar of the start menu, click the resulting link. It will open the System Information window.
    3. File>Save. In the "File Name" filed, put "MSINFO32" (without Quote), give the save location to desktop, and click the "save" button.
    4. Give the time for processing, it will save a .nfo file on your desktop.
    5. Zip it, and upload it following the instruction.

    Let us know .

    Hello Arc,

I went through your steps and got to the stress testing for my GPU. When I ran it, it ran for about 5 seconds then the image from my screen disappeared even though the computer was still running. I turned it off manually and then tried turning it back on but there was several large lines all over the screen through the load to Windows, and it completely artifacts with the screen being all multicolored squares.

It indicates that the GPU is failing. Plan to replace it. If it is under warranty, RMA it. Within the time, use the onboard graphics.

Have you uninstalled the SPTD? Upload the MSINFO32.nfo file if possible?
