I can only change to 4:3 resolutions..

Test nvidia card using Video Card - Stress Test with Furmark
Look if nvidia is working fine in another machine. I think the card is faulty. Still warranty? |

Turns out, I can't run it, because it doesn't recognize my graphics card.Instead it recognizes "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter".

If you can't get the stress test to run, then remove your current graphics card, and then place the other graphics card into the same PCI/PCIe slot, then boot into Windows normally and see if the computer crashes.
