Ok thanks for the help. Are there any websites/information you can provide that might give me an insight on how to fix this kind of hardware malfunction? I don't really want to buy a new card if I can somehow fix this one. I have a hunch the card might have burned out and I've heard of a few methods to fix it but are there any in particular you can think of that might be good on this kind of card?

Youtube is often a good resource for how to videos if only for instructions on how to strip, quite often its just a case of looking to see if any part/component is black/burnt/damaged
