BSOD while playing GPU intensive programs, Common 0xC000000D error

Not that strange. This issue is common. I personally faced it with my earlier GPU, too. All the symptoms are the same.

Replacing the GPU (by koolkat77) did everything back to normal for me.

Well, installed a new 680 into my system, and now the problems are significantly worse. The system randomly slows/freezes/stops simply browsing the web, and the driver (latest) even crashes with nothing other than Chrome open.

Errors that appear with every single crash are still:
"Audit events have been dropped by the transport. 0"
"Session "Microsoft Security Client OOBE" stopped due to the following error: 0xC000000D"

New one I have never seen before:
"Updates to the IIS metabase were aborted because IIS is either not installed or is disabled on this machine. To configure ASP.NET to run in IIS, please install or enable IIS and re-register ASP.NET using aspnet_regiis.exe /i."

And also (now commonly):
"The description for Event ID 14 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

EDIT: Maybe it was just some kind of "breaking in" period it was having but it seems to be working ok now. Although I seem to be getting worse framerates on my 680 than my 570 -.-

Have you replaced the GPU already? If not, use onboard graphics and see if the situation is the same there or not.

If the crashes occur on a particular game only (or on Steam), better you contract the developers of the game. They will give you some better idea to deal with those, say some patches or setting changes etc.
