    BSOD 5-10 Times a Day, 0x000000d1 ntoskrnl.exe?

    Hey everyone.

For about a month and a half now, I've been experiencing multiple BSODs every day(as directed in the title, up to 5-10). Most of the time when they happen, it's when I'm pushing my CPU/memory really hard(I'm an audio engineer, so I work with some processor and memory-heavy applications), but it has also happened 1 or 2 times when I was only watching a video on netflix or youtube.

I don't remember making any major changes to my system around the time this started, and I've already tried running tests on my memory and both HDDs with no errors coming up. I've also been monitoring the temps of my CPU and GPUs to make sure that it isn't a heat issue, which is isn't.

I've been running my same setup for over a year now, and even before the BSODs started I was doing the same activities that I'm doing now, including pushing my CPU/memory hard at times. I've tried to fix the problem on my own for the passed couple of weeks, but I've gotten nowhere, so I'm coming to the community for help.

I downloaded a tool called BlueScreenView which lists out the information about the BSODs that I've been having, including the driver that seems to be the cause of the problem. "ntoskrnl.exe" shows up as the problem driver every time, but sometimes it's paired with another different driver that seems to be almost random(sometimes having to do with my antivirus, sometimes with my audio interface or another windows driver, etc). But I could be completely wrong about "ntoskrnl.exe" being the problem.

Thanks for taking your time to help me out. This gets to be incredibly frustrating.

    Hi Jarret525.

It seems that the cause of your BSOD's are DJM-900nexus Audio Driver
    Code:
    DJM-900nexus_AutoSetup	DJM-900nexus_AutoSetup	Running	Auto	Own Process	c:\program files (x86)\pioneer\djm-900nexus\djm-900nexus_autosetup.exe	Normal	LocalSystem	0
I would recommend you uninstall this software and its drivers with free Revo uninstaller and check if the BSOD's continue.
    Revo Uninstaller
Download and install Revo Uninstaller free from here: Download Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Free and Full Download - Uninstall software, remove programs, solve uninstall problems

Opt for "Advanced Mode" and uninstall the software (also delete the leftover registry entries).

    System Optimisers

    Please remove the following software:
    Code:
    TuneUpUtilitiesDriver64.sys Fri May 25 16:28:19 2012
This software is a known cause of BSOD's. The windows 7 operating system does not require these registry cleaning software. They often tune-down rather than tune-up and can wreck the OS beyond repair. Microsoft have improved Windows 7 significantly and it is much better at organising and optimising itself than its predecessors. Check this, this and this thread for evidence.

If you feel the need to use a registry cleaning or optimisation software, most of us recommend the use of CCleaner - PC Optimization and Cleaning - Free Download but make sure you back up the registry before making letting ccleaner delete anything.10 Tips on How to Properly Maintain Your Computer

    Overclocking
If you are overclocking any hardware, STOP. Reset any changed values back to default.
    Code:
    RivaTuner/EVGA Precision/MSI Afterburner (known BSOD issues w/Win7)
    Start Menu\Programs\MSI Afterburner	COCAIN-PC\Paul:Start Menu\Programs\MSI Afterburner	COCAIN-PC\Paul
    Start Menu\Programs\MSI Afterburner\SDK	COCAIN-PC\Paul:Start Menu\Programs\MSI Afterburner\SDK	COCAIN-PC\Paul
       Warning
This is overclocking software and can lead to system instability and BSOD's. Please reset all components to their stock speeds and then remove the software.

    Security App

Crashes indicate Avira being a possible cause. Remove Avira and replace with Microsoft Security Essentials to see if it provides more stability. Uninstallers (removal tools) for common antivirus software. Microsoft Security Essentials and Malwarebytes are recommended from a strict BSOD perspective. They do not cause blue screens on the system as other AV products do.

Microsoft Security Essentials, Free antivirus for windows and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Free

       Information
    • Do not start the free trial of MalwareBytes, unselect that option when prompted.

    • Update and make full scans with both separately.

Thanks for the reply kool. The problem is, that driver is actually for my audio interface, so it needs to be installed, but I'll uninstall it and try a few things out and report back. You're a very big help.

I uninstalled the DJM-900nexus Audio Driver, but Unfortunately I'm still getting BSODs, although it seems like it's happening less(I've only had 1 today, and 1 yesterday). Also I don't have any kind of overclocking going on, I only use MSI Afterburner to monitor my GPU temps and other information. I ran scans with malwarebytes, MSE, and tested my RAM/HD for errors and nothing problematic came up.

Should I collect the logs again and upload them for the recent BSOD info?

It seems that you haven't done any of the other steps recommended.
I won't be able to suggest you anything further till you have completed those, very sorry.

I did take all of the steps you listed. I uninstalled the DJM-900Nexus driver with Revo, as far as TuneUpUtilities goes, I only use it for cleaning unnecessary files like cookies, browser data, and recycle bin files. I also explained that I don't use the MSI Afterburner for overclocking, and the only antivirus I have installed is MSE and Malwarebytes. I tried Avira out a while back, but uninstalled it a short while after.

The "DJM-900nexusAudio64.sys" seems to be being installed by windows itself like what happens when you first plug in a USB device. I'm guessing maybe that was conflicting with the regular driver, so I'll try getting rid of that and reinstalling the driver fresh and make sure that windows isn't installing an older driver on top of it.
