BSODs not producing dumps

    Are you seeing something like this:


    If not I don't think dumps are generated, as I said earlier. This is a BSOD.

    Can you upload a camera snap of the BSOD next time? The event log tells about unexpected shutdown, but not about a BSOD. So failing to get the code at least.

    Ok I got another one today and took a picture on my phone, hope this helps. (and no, I still didn't get a dump file)

    netr28x.sys is related to Ralink 802.11n Wireless Adapters Try reinstalling the driver for this adapter, there may be a newer one.

    netr28x.sys can also be a Trojan, d/l Malwarebytes (See link below my sig) and install it, making sure to uncheck Install trial version. Update the definitions and run a full scan.

    Ok I'm going to update the ralink driver tonight, still don't know why I can't get a dump file to show up though :/

    I'm no expert, but if you have a Trojan or some malware, it may be blocking dumps so it avoids detection.

    Got another one today, still no dump file. This one looks like a graphics driver issue...still would like an actual dump file though.

    yes i updated wireless driver and ran malwarebytes scan but nothing came up :/
