BSOD, ntoskrnl.exe as cause listed in BlueScreenView
Hello all,
Thanks in advance for the help.
I installed Marvel Heroes earlier this week. It promptly yelled at me to update my drivers and pointed me to Intel's driver utility. From here I updated the video card. On top of that, I also ran the Thinkpad utility to update every thing else that was listed. I think the included the wireless card, a BIOS, update and 4-5 other items I'm not sure about.
Since then, I have been getting blue screens fairly regularly. Playing the game, using VPN (Nortel in this instance), starting up, shutting down, and just random instances. I've uninstalled all programs that have been installed this week (game, wire shark, some others), I've uninstalled all VPN software as well as VNC and GoTo Meeting, and I've tried rolling my drivers back and reinstalling them. All with no luck. I currently only have 4 BSOD minidumps because I ran CCLeaner after uninstalling everything. I also ran DriveSweeper after uninstalling the drivers, but I'm not sure I used it correctly.
I've turned on Verifier, but it was only having issues with drivers that I don't think have changed in a long, so I've considered them red herrings until someone smarter than me says differently.
Attached is the zipped that was requested in the FAQ. Let me know what else I can provide. Most of my system specs are listed in my profile. Let me know if I should throw them in here instead. Again, thank you for the help.
