I had marked solved a random lock up thread here - random lock ups but the issue has since returned. This is a fresh 64bit Win7 Ultimate install and I updated all the drivers mentioned previously in that thread. I've attached the gathered logs but there were no .dmp files to be found.
Any further suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Well I can't help a lot on such things but I did notice you don't have SP-1 installed. SP-1 should be installed.

I had actually intentionally not loaded SP1 and all the updates to try and eliminate any of them having been the culprit. I'm already in the process of updating all that stuff, I'm sure it'll continue to be a problem, however, just like before. I'm wondering if it isn't just a BIOS or voltage issue. The system only locks up when it's in an idle state. Maybe it's dipping lower in voltage than it could handle so I might try disabling that feature in the BIOS and just have everything run full bore rather than idling back any at all. hrm....
Looking at your other post . You mentioned having a SSD drive . Do you know if you have the recent firmware ?

To check firmware version :
Click on the startbutton . Type Device Manager inside Search programs and files box and press enter
Expand Disk Drives and right click on the SSD choose Properties click on the Details Tab on the Property Drop down menu select Hardware ID firmware will be listed on right.
Thanks for the suggestion on the SSD! :) The first thing I did with that SSD is update the firmware for it. I had read up on the crash issues associated with not doing it so before I ever loaded win7 I did that. This SSD was also running flawlessly in another win7 64 ultimate machine but the mobo on that one had issues with the SATA controller.
Yessir. When I built this machine I let Prime95 (its 64 bit update) and memtest run for 48hrs each. The first pass failed but after I updated the EUFI BIOS everything was peachy. No failures since then.
Download the SP1 and install it . You need that . Windows 7 isn't complete without the Service Pack 1
All updates that were critical were installed and a cold boot was performd. System locked up. Updated to the latest BIOS for my mobo, locked up again. Changed the voltage and cpu throttling in the BIOS like I had spoken of earlier, system locked up.
This is what it did last time too. It seemed to work fine for a week or so then wham, lock ups started happening and became more and more frequent. I just don't get why there is only an issue when the thing is idle.
I'm just about ready to order another mobo and be done with this one. I've attached the logs but I don't see anything else that might be causing an issue. There is a thermal event listed but none of my burn in tests ever caused an issue and they ran for a long time.
