BSOD USBPORT.SYS Please Help
Hello:
I've been getting some BSODs before and after a clean (OEM) install of Windows 7 Home Pre3mium 64 Bit. I've run memtest (1 pass) on my RAM and it was fine. I'm working with an ASUS p5Q Pro board with an EN8400GS graphics card. I just added that card this week and had a crash after I installed (but I had them before as well). When the BSOD happened I was running 8MB of RAM, but I pulled it back to 4MB to see if that would avert another crash. I had hoped that installing the new version of Windows would help this, but it didn't. I've had crashes before and after the install.
I've attached my most recent crash dump files (1-4 with 1 being the most recent). Some crashes point to the USBPORT.SYS but others note a memory corruption.
I have the following using a USB port: a seagate goflex external drive; a wireless microsoft mouse and keyboard; a Cisco AE2500 wireless adaptor.
I don't recall doing anything specific for any of the BSOD crashes that trigger this.
Is this enough information? I'm sorry if I didn't include enough or have posted this in the wrong spot.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
