Okay thanks, and I would start running some hard drive tests as soon as possible. There seems to be quite a few function calls related to disk management etc.

i am having alot of BSOD after i try to install net framework as someone from another thread that i have asked for help told me to. and now i cant event boot into my desktop unless im running in save mode.
Did you update it through Windows Updates? There were a few reports last week about a few Windows Updates causing BSODs, which were meant to have been pulled down by Microsoft.
What were the results of the hard drive diagnostics?
I cant install any updates from windows update as long as it has something to do with net framework. how do i do a hard drive diagnostic? im having alot alot of BSOD.
