Yes. I am going to try and borrow a psu and see if there is a recurring problem. I also removed speed fan

The other psu was too hard to remove. But I was confused earlier, I never checked the temp from he BIOS. I used the software I got from here. The BIOS reads the vcore at 1.020, DRAM at 1.524, the 12V at 11.992 and the 5V at 5.077. So from what you said essenbe, it would be the motherboard that is having a problem, correct?

Those values seem to be good. I was under the assumption that the values you gave me were from the bios. I knew the values were wrong. That's why I placed the blame on the board/bios. If you recall I had asked for the values from the bios and thought that is what you had given. The ATX (your PSU style) satndards are +/- 5%, which puts all those values you just gave me within specs. So, I'm not sure it is the motherboard now.

BTW, the PSU is only connected to the case with 4 screws at the back of the case. There is usually a small piece of metal sticking out from the case that barely covers the top edge of the PSU to keep it from moving upward. The rest is just the wires from the PSU connected to everything in the case.

Okay, I am sorry I misunderstood. Should I check the BIOS a few times? Or would this put me back at square one?

    Edit:
I can tell you that now I am not getting any .dmp files in the Minidump folder when it restarts during gameplay from Civ5/Rift.

    Editx2:
I also reinstalled SpeedFan again after format, still induces BSOD but that might be due to the driver again.

I checked the voltage from the BIOS and it was constant and at the correct values for the Vcore, DRAM, 5V and 12V. So it does not seem the PSU is having problems. I was going to try the other PSU but the computer it is currently in has very little room and the PSU is encapsulated in the tower.

I did reformat the hard drive, reinstalled windows 7, and all the drivers. I still had the crash issue during gameplay, but now it was worse, when the game Civilization 5 would load a game it would be an instant restart.

But, I noticed that the wireless USB External adapter that were purchased from the same place as the computer was getting EXTREMELY hot, to the point where touching the USB tab would burn skin and the plastic portion would be almost too hot to hold. I though this may be due to having it plugged into the USB 4 port host adapter that was also purchased there. So I took out the Host Adapter, plugged everything that was in the Host Adapter and then I ran Civ 5 later on. It crashed, and for some reason Windows 7 did some sort of revert, and installed 26 new windows updates. Low and behold, Civ 5 seems to be working, for now.

The external wireless still gets EXTREMELY hot, so I am going to purchase a switch to route direct internet to in, to avoid risk of burning a port or the wireless out itself. But for now it is seemingly running okay. After a few hours of gameplay we will see!

Glad to hear things are working out, it may have just been a bad install for what ever reason that caused your issues. Keep us posted if anything else goes wrong.

Had another crash today during game play, I did have a system restore point because it did install a lot of windows updates. I am going to go back to a point before the updates. Here is the SF Diagnostics for after the crash.

    Edit:
I noticed there were Windows Updates that failed so I am trying to resolve that, and I am using a new wireless USB adapter until the Ethernet cable comes in so I just updated that driver.

The same issue you were having before, which leads me to believe that this is a hard ware issue as it has persisted beyond a clean install with fresh drivers.you may want to look into getting your video card replaced. another option would be too use older drivers and see if it stabilizes the problem, I suggest the latter first before the former.

I tried to use older drivers, but no luck. I am going to contact the company and try to either get a return or replace the card last resort. This machine has just been a bad omen since day 1 unfortunately. Thank you all for your help, would you like me to mark it as solved on the basis that it was a corrupt GPU?

or you can wait until you get your new GPU just to make sure it doesn't give you any issues after install.
