Holy Mackerel, I have the Vcore at 1.14, the 3.3V is at 3.71, the 5V is at 6.34, and the 12V is at 5.63V.

Is that really bad as it looks at the 12V range?

No, that can't be correct. If your +12V was 5.63, your computer wouldn't boot. The other voltages are too high. The ATX standards are +/- 5%.

Macy, if the reinstall does not solve the problem, see if you can borrow a PSU from a friend and try that. I would hate for you to spend money then find out that is not the problem. It is clear, to me, that the voltage readings you are getting are wrong. The computer would not operate at all if those voltages were correct.

Just a thought, considering the BIOS seems to be getting the wrong readings on voltages, but perhaps a BIOS update would help as well? (if one is available)

The reinstall of Windows 7 and all drivers did not solve the issue, still had a crash. I can try to borrow a PSU, I just would not want to do any damage. I contacted the tech support of the maker of my computer and I think I can get a new PSU from them shipped Monday. I tried a BIOS driver update but no luck there.

Macy, did you give those PSU readings from the BIOS? If you did, here's the situation, as I see it. I know the bios readings you gave are not correct. No computer will even come close to booting with the +12V at the reading you gave us. Also the 3.3 and 5V readings were too high. What that means is that the bios is not reading the PSU correctly. The PSU connects to the motherboard and the motherboard distributes the power. So, the BIOS is very corrupted or the motherboard is bad. If it were my computer, I would first find someone with a multi meter that knows how to take those readings directly from the PSU. That should tell you what the power being put out by the PSU actually is. If you know how to connect a PSU to the computer, it should not mess anything up. If you connect a known good PSU to the computer and it does the same thing, you will know that the PSU is not the problem. That, to me, is a defenative test. It will tell you for sure that the problem is not the PSU, which I suspect. If the borrowed PSU fixes the problem, that also tells you what the problem is. Without specialized equipment, the readings in bios are supposed to be the most accurate you can get. Yours is reading it wrong. That is a given, no matter what the problem turns out to be. That's the way I see it. I hope I explained it in a way you can understand it. If not, feel free to ask any questions you have.

Another thought; because Speed Fan has it's little fingers in reading voltages it might be causing the goofy readings.
