My ASUS laptop (i5-450M, 4GB, NVIDIA Geforce 310m) has several DSOD (0x00000124) daily
Please help me to determine the cuase of this crash.

The first parameter or argument has the value of 0x0, which is a Machine Check Exception, which means the CPU has detected a hardware problem and the address points to a processor error because the CPU has found one, so it could be a different form of hardware which is causing the issue.

Your Intel graphics card driver seems to be a possible cause, please check for updates from here - Intel® Driver Update Utility

Furthermore, since a Stop 0x124 is a hardware related BSOD, then I would suggest testing the CPU CPU - Stress Test Using IntelBurnTest I'm sure the Intel graphics card is either integrated into the CPU or the motherboard.All the hardware seeming to be running stable and tests reporting no errors, could mean a bad motherboard.
