BSOD When Installing Games on Steam/Launching Games Through Steam

It started yesterday when I attempted to launch a game (Civilization V) through Steam and got the BSOD error. I uninstalled and re-installed Steam, my graphics drivers, everything I can possibly think of, including a general fix Steam itself responded to me with (which was completely unspecific to my issue - they clearly can't be bothered), and I am to the point where I have asked for a refund for my games, because it is just that hopeless.

In a last ditch effort to get my computer straight, I downloaded BlueScreenView, and this is what it has told me; Mind you, there are multiple errors.

From this afternoon (before driver re-install and disc check):
    - SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION 0x0000003B
    - File names listed as issues: ntoskrnl.exe and tcpip.sys
I also had this issue last night

More recently (after all of my "fixes"):
    - DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL 0x000000d1
    - File names listed as issues: athrx.sys and ntoskrnl.exe (again)

Even in older crashes, ntoskrnl.exe has been listed as an issue, and I don't have enough knowledge of this sort of thing to have any idea what this means! Is there hope for me?

I have disabled my wireless connection and connected to the internet to download using an ethernet cable, and all is going well at the moment.
Launching games was also an issue, but the downloading has been fixed!
