BSOD (error 0x000000ed) after windows logo screen

    BSOD (error 0x000000ed) after windows logo screen


    After the windows logo screen, I'm getting the above error (thanks to bad ups and power failures). What do I do now ?
    btw I have a bootable win 7 on usb, if that can help at all

    Are you able to access Windows at all? Are you able to enter Safe Mode?

    I cannot follow those instructions as I can't access windows at all, not even in safe mode

    Where did you buy the copy of Windows 7? Hacked and counterfeit copies of Windows can be completely unpredictable, and cause many problems. I'm not saying that you have a hacked/counterfeit copy.
