    BSOD Old Install and now New


    This issue happens when browsing, virus scanning, anything like that.

    Since writing this the Memtest86+ has found 2045 errors so far and it's still running the test.

    I think you answered yourself. Memtest found errors, so it's best to approach the memory first. I did notice that the 0x124 crashdumps reported the CPU has detected an error when attempting memory access. Which memory it's trying to access I'm not sure (it did say L0 cache but that may be the destination). It did say it occurred with the memory bus though, so most likely it's pointing back to the motherboard/RAM as being suspect.

    I'd say start pulling memory sticks out and testing with Memtest to see if any of them show up bad/clean. If they all show up bad somehow, then most likely it's some other issue (motherboard/cpu/psu). I'd start with PSU/Motherboard before I approach the CPU.
