All I had to do was search for sonic only

This is what I see, the only software that I can think of deleting is DVD maker but is not available in control panel programs

You could Find it under Program Features > Turn Windows features on or off > Media Features > Windows DVD Maker

It doesn't remove it but at least it might wont do a conflict.

Found it from an old post of Capt.Jack Sparrow

    I sorted by date

The highlighted icons I think is from visiting their website

I renamed pxhlpa64.sys but after booting my dvd drives disappear.

I wont try the other method since my drives work fine.

in my registry I have only lower filters.

    FIXED pxhlpa64.sys

Found Advanced Fix 2013 that says it fixes pxhlpa64.sys, scanned pressed fix all, fixed some then it was asking for money for full fix. Cancelled, uninstalled Advanced Fix 2013, I run ccleaner, restarted pc with verifier on with all NON Microsoft drivers checked, guess what, NO BSOD. YAY

Turning off verifier and wait for the next BSOD which wont be due to pxhlpa64.sys.

Sunday morning I will install again firefox.

That's great to know, sorry for my absence, please keep me updated :)

I'll scan your system with your security suite, after using Advanced Fix 2013, rouge programs like that may drop other malware and spyware.

    Firefox conflicts with pxhlpa64.sys

    1) Installed firefox 25 and run verifier and got the 1st BSOD pxhlpa64.sys

    2) Installed again automatic fix run and clicked fix all.

    3) restarted with verifier on, got the 2nd BSOD pxhlpa64.sys

    4) automatic fix doesn't fix pxhlpa64.sys.

    5) Uninstalled Firefox, run verifier NO BSOD

100000% sure for my conclusion that firefox conflicts with pxhlpa64.sys.

With firefox installed both of my drives were reading and writting but not sure for perfect write.

I posted in firefox support forum also

Well, mixed emotions. I'm glad you found your problem, or at least part of it. Yet, sorry you can't use your browser of choice. But, at the least, we're making progress. It could be that Firefox drivers are conflicting with the drivers of some other software you have installed. If I were you, I would leave it just the way it is for several more days to make sure there are no other problems. Then you can experiment with some other browsers, if you don't like ie9. That way, if you install another browser and start having the BSODs again, you will know the cause. It's strange things like that happen. ie10, others use with no problems, but I have a lot of issues with it so use ie9. Just give it several days and keep us informed of your progress. Once you are sure that was your only problem, please mark this thread solved. Best of luck to you and am anxiously waiting your reports.

After so much frustration I believe I found the cause.

Started downloading firefox earlier versions from version 4.

    Steps I did:

    1) Removed firefox COMPLETELY.

    2) Installed version 4 without installing maintenance update service.

    3) Run verifier with all non microsoft drivers checked.

    4) After no bsod occurred I turned off verifier.

    5) Installed version 12 accidentally cause I forgot to turn off automatic updates.

    6) Step 3

    7) Step 4

    8) Installed version 19 after being advised by history reliability of windows when windows first started to get bosd(since and of June).

    9) Step 3

    10) Step 4

    11) Done it with version 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25.

    12) No BSOD

    13) Started with 1 addon: Mulit links from grizzlyape (removed link details so that you don't think I advertise)

    14) Step 3

    15) Step 4

    16) Download my theme addon: walnut

    17) Step 3

    18) Step 4

    19) THE END

ADVICE: Every time you install anything new in your computer, restart then run verifier.

Every time I installed newer firefox I always unchecked maintenance update service.
Why I believe is this? I always hated background services. It's the first thing I start deleting when I do a fresh windows install. Delete unnecessary background services.

They only step that will say that the service is not responsible is when I run verifier every time I install a new addon and pops a BSOD.

I wont try to install maintenance update service and risk to get a bsod again because I will have to uninstall firefox and install again.

Made a screenshot of my system, verifier on showing that pxhlpa64.sys is checked and version of firefox.

Dark warriors is the game that I play every single day. Best game to see if your browser is sluggish.

    iexplorer(9,10,11) really s**ks.

Thank you all for your guidelines and patience, I learned a lot and this will help me when I build my new system. Thanks to this it wont be soon :).

One question I their a specific section that I find experience from professionals that you workstation motherboards with dual XEON?

    Thank you again.

For the dual Xeons, you may try Hardware and devices. We have several here. But, I can't imagine what you could do that really needs that kind of power. They are not really gaming CPUs. Unless you need all those cores, you would be better off financially and performance wise, in my opinion, with a Desktop CPU. All the cores are great, if you use applications that will use them. But, there are none that I know of outside the server or CAD field. I know of no game that will use all 4 cores of a CPU, much less all the cores of a Xeon. Very few applications need them.

Thanks for the update. I hope it all works out for you.

    Adobe photoshop and adobe premier

I know for sure that when I burn a DVD Standard definition when the rendering is in progress the 2 cores of my CPU work 100% for about 30 minutes to burn 1:13 minutes.
