Could Power4Gear cause the BSOD problem?
    Possible.

Uninstall it with Revo as well.

    I haven't had any BSOD after I uninstalled Power4Gear.
Not sure about video crashes because I've been away from the laptop for a while at times.

Is there a way I can check if there have been any video crashes?

    Not really.
Now if you get any BSOD just update the thread with new zip.

Laptop froze, had to hard-turn it OFF. I hope it's one of those random freezes after turning it back ON from hibernation.
I got the zip just in case.

    You haven't yet removed Norton:
    • Start Menu\Programs\Norton 360

Please remove Asus software with Revo uninstaller as instructed in the post earlier.
    • Start Menu\Programs\ASUS
    • Start Menu\Programs\ASUS\ASUS Splendid Utility
    • Start Menu\Programs\ASUS\AsusVibe
    • Start Menu\Programs\ASUS\FaceLogon
    • Start Menu\Programs\ASUS Utility

    Start up
Keep less stuff at the start-up. Only anti-virus, this helps avoid driver conflicts and improves time to log in to windows.

I uninstalled many of those Asus applications.
    Should I remove these?
    Asus AI Recovery
    Asus Live Update
    Wireless Console 3
    eDriver
    eManual
    GameFast
    Rotation Desktop for G Series
    WinFlash

I already downloaded Microsoft Security Essentials from MS site for when I remove Norton 360.

From the file it looked like Norton was still present.
You should uninstall them if you're sure you don't need them.

Just got a BSOD, the laptop rebooted itself.
I removed Norton 360 and installed Microsoft Security Essentials, sorry I didn't do it before.

Curious, is your battery charged up and the power adapter working well?

The battery sits at 99% charge, the power adapter is working well I think.
Could it be a bad contact in the wall plug? A short circuit?
