Locks up with a weird sound
Hello
I used to have a problem a few months ago where my computer would lock up whilst playing BF3. I couldn't find the answer so i gave up and stopped playing BF3. Now i have a new problem. If im playing a game it will sometimes lock up and give me a weird sound through the speakers. I recorded it with my phone [YOUT********.youtube.com/watch?v=d1j-1pjKM1M[/YOUTUBE] www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1j-1pjKM1M It is random. I can sometimes go 6 hours without it happening, sometimes i can go 3 minutes and it will happen, other times 40 minutes. It it does crash and give the weird sound, if i reboot it will do it again with 10 minutes, even if its just sitting on desktop. The only temporary solution I've found is to turn everything off. Unplug the GPU from the PSU and then plug it back it and it won't crash for a week or so. I updated my GPU drivers but that didnt make any difference. My temps at full load are GPU:72c CPu:61c HDD:33c My specs are: Geforce GTX 460 2 Quad CPU Q9550 @2.83GHZ Windows 7 64bit 4GB Ram As it doesn't give me a BSOD i was abit unsure what to post, so i followed Using Driver Verifier to identify issues with Drivers and it gave me a BSOD. I've attached all the files need i hope. Although they will contain my old BF3 crash dumps |
