Dual boot Win7 Home Premium and Vista Home Premium SP2
WIN 7 "locks up"


I have a dual boot PC...Vista HP SP2 and WIN7 RC 7100

Both fully patched etc with all updates.

Until about a week ago (cant be sure of exacct time/date) ...faultless. Now after 2mins 30secs approx my WIN7 simply locks (freezes). I can tell as my Gadget clock with second hand simply stops. I have to hard boot my PC to get it back. probs....

My sytem spec is in my control panel

any help would be appreciated...any thoughts on what to look for. I tried running Problem report, but it just locked up on me. Reliabilty monitor, likewise, I have to hard boot to get OUT of it....

I cant run anything...

Dual boot Win7 Home Premium and Vista Home Premium SP2

So I did a system restore to SEPT 21 !!! AND now no probs. Just downloaded the updates to Office 2007.

Shut Down button wants to install another 5 updates (net framework and Silverlight updates...) not sure IF I want these...they MAY have been the problem....ah well here goes
