All I know iis that the CCC installed something, if it's not installing the right one then I am just going to change graphics card will get a basic 45GBP one tomorrow will do for now it beats all the hassle!

But thank you for all your help.

    Leo

P.S. This is why I want to go back to Mac OS X Had a G5 but i dropped mug of tea on it! :S I never had one problem well apart from not being able to go Snow Leopard lol!
If the right version is not being installed, its not any issue in the part of CCC or AMD or Windows.

But your plan to change the GPU is worthy, as if balloons occur with more than one driver version including the latest one, its an odd issue with the GPU itself. And thats only why I wanted you to change the GPU.

Wish it will make you free from the balloon issue. Best of luck. :)

Definitely sounds a heat or cap problem on that card Leo I'd cut my losses and the grief and go NVidia.
I have never regretted it a single day I am looking at getting this https://www.asus.com/Graphics_Cards/GTX660_TIDC2O2GD5/ to replace the excellent 650 in my Ivy or have in the next build.

I am no expert and don't game but do appreciate fast really decent graphics:)
