BSOD while gaming, browsing, even troubleshooting! dxgmms1.sys

Hi all, thanks in advance for any help.

I've recently started having some issues with my PC while playing games. Over the past 2 or so weeks while playing Mass Effect 2+3 my computer would just reboot. No error message was given, the screen would just go black. I didn't really think much of it, as it only happened a couple times. Minidumps were disabled at this point.
I played through Dead Island after that and had a couple instances where the game force minimized itself. Again, didn't think much of it.
Then the steam sale started, so I was spending a bit more time fiddling around in steam and purchasing games. I clicked on my inventory and BAM, BSOD. This first one was the IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL error. At this point i googled and started looking for answers (since I've literally never had a BSOD since i got this computer in 2010) and activated the minidump logs.
Since then, the computer crashes sporadically. At first I thought it was a Steam related issue, but then it crashed in skyrim with dxgmms1.sys listed. So I thought maybe it was a graphics issue, so I updated the graphics driver but it still crashes after a random amunt of time in Skyrim.
I tried to run the driver verifier, but when I go to login to windows it crashes between entering my password and bringing up the desktop (no log is created for these crashes either).
After turning off driver verifier I came to your site and tried running the diagnostic tool. It errored out so I was running them one by one and it BSOD when I got to the MSINFO32 log.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!!

Uninstall your current antivirus as it is contributing to your BSOD's. Replace with Microsoft Security Essentials & the Free version of Malwarebytes, update and make full scans separately:

Uninstallers (removal tools) for common antivirus software - ESET Knowledgebase

Microsoft Security Essentials - Microsoft Windows

Malwarebytes Free

Do not start the trial version of MalwareBytes

Ok, I've done pretty much all as instructed.
Avast! is gone, with MSE installed instead. Full scans done by MSE and Malwarebytes (some objects were found and removed)
As for the drivers, I uninstalled my 56k modem completely as I couldn't find updated drivers (I did this in device manager, is there a way to do this in Revo if it doesnt show as a program?). I updated the GEARA driver, but wasn't able to find the Sonic one...
I scanned with Kaspersky, it found 2 medium level objects, but recommended that I skip them.
I scanned with ESET, it found nothing.
I greatly reduced the number of startup items I have.

I was able to run 2 passes on my memory yesterday without errors, I will run Memtest longer today.

After all this I was in steam for about 3 minutes and it BSOD restarted, so it doesnt look like I've found it yet...

F4 does not have any usual causes but still related to storage in almost all threads we've solved up to now.

Aha!
Well kinda...
sfc /scannow ran one time and said there were corrupt files. So, I tried to run it again.
Twice in a row it BSOD at 19%, so I'm thinking that must be part of the problem...
HDD tested out fine, no issues or errors reported tho.

Will post that first thing in the morning.
I couldn't get it to finish the SFC scan so I started trying different things and ended up doing a complete re-install of the OS.
Unfortunately the BSOD is still happening, maybe even more than before and the OS is still pretty stripped.
This should mean it's hardware related right?
Right now I have it running a memtest overnight.

Ok, so I haven't been able to get that crystal disk screen but I'm pretty sure it's not the hardrive. I spent today swapping components 1 by 1 to try to find the root of the issue. I swapped vid cards with diff drivers, still bsod. Brand new memory sticks, still bsod. Brand new HDD, still bsod. I bought and applied fresh thermal gel, still bsod. The only things I haven't swapped are the psu (it's only a few months old, and it's supposedly a high quality one), the mobo and the processor.I'm gonna pick up a mobo to try tomorrow, but this is driving me nuts!
