    Having bsods relating to ntoskrnl.exe+75c00

    Hello all,

My first post here but was looking for a forums that is good with bsod help this seems the best.

Anyway i have a custom built new Haswell system that is bsod randomly, usually if watching a film/playing games but today did idle in windows.

The bsods always seem related to ntoskrnl.exe and some have mentioned nvidia files too however reverting back to an older driver didn't stop them.Did a windows reinstall nothing changed, have done Memtest86 reported no errors.

I've attached the needed file to my post for you guys to take a look,

    Thanks

    Dan

    Hi,

Your logs show a few misbehaving drivers, Nvidia and Creative:

    Code:

    *******************************************************************************
    *                                                                             *
    *                        Bugcheck Analysis                                    *
    *                                                                             *
    *******************************************************************************
Use !analyze -v to get detailed debugging information.

    STOP 0x00000019: BAD_POOL_HEADER
    Usual causes: Device driver

As you have tried the latest version and rolling back your Nvidia drivers without success
please try this known stable version:

    1. Download and install Driver Fusion.
    2. Reboot the computer in Advanced Boot Options, safe mode.
    3. Search Driver Fusion in your start menu, and remove all components of your nVidia display driver.
    4. If it says the free version of Driver Fusion cannot remove all the elements, stop there and follow:
Drivers - Clean Left over Files after Uninstalling
    5. Boot normally now. Go to Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers, Drivers > Beta and Legacy;
    6. Search there with your cards particulars for GeForce 306.23 Driver, dated 13.9.2012 and install it.

Stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark:

Video Card - Stress Test with Furmark

    Also please update this driver:

    Code:

    Driver: ha20x22k.sys
    Refers to: Creative Technology Audigy
    Support: Creative Worldwide Support
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

Also this driver pre-dates Windows 7 and should be removed by uninstalling the program Corsair:

    CorsairLINK_HardwareMonitor.sys Sat Jul 26 14:29:37 2008

How many passes did you run Memtest for?

    cheers

I have an auzentech forte 7.1 soundcard so not sure how to update the driver via the link you provided? Also should i just remove CosairLink?(need a version that's fine to use as it's important for my cooler)

Can't seem to enable SLI in those drivers 306.23 too....no option to?

Done all the other steps fine. :)

    Thanks

Removed all nvidia files with fusion+driver sweeper, installed 314.22 drivers as they allowed me to enable sli and supposed to be stable/reliable.

Uninstalled CorsairLink.(need a version that is fine to use though)

So all i need to do is update the sound driver which i am unsure of, i downloaded the driver from Auzentech site which was dated 2011 and it was the latest one sadly.

    CACHE_MANAGER (34)
Yes I saw that error in your logs.

    STOP 0x00000034: CACHE_MANAGER
Usual causes: Insufficient physical memory, Indexing, Device driver

This indicates that a problem occurred in the file system's cache manager.

    Cause
One possible cause of this bug check is depletion of nonpaged pool memory. If the
nonpaged pool memory is completely depleted, this error can stop the system.
However, during the indexing process, if the amount of available nonpaged pool
memory is very low, another kernel-mode driver requiring nonpaged pool memory
    can also trigger this error.

    Resolving the Problem

To resolve a nonpaged pool memory depletion problem: Add new physical memory to
the computer. This will increase the quantity of nonpaged pool memory available
    to the kernel.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As you have 16GB of RAM (sufficient) and I have Identified the drivers,
I left it out of my last analysis to see the result of the driver updates.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For the creative driver, you have the program Creative installed:
    Startmenu/Programs/Creative

You will need to update this program, by removing then reinstalling latest version.
Or if you no longer require it, just uninstall:

    https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/77761-programs-features-uninstall-change-program.html
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes just remove the Cosair program, then see if there is a newer version available:

    http://www.corsair.com/en/corsair-link.html
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If your overclocking STOP. At least for now until the problem is resolved.

The 306.23 drivers are a stable driver, to test to see if your graphics card
can run without crashing, I would leave SLI disabled for now and install and test
    both cards separately.
Sometimes you may need to reinstall the driver again in order for SLI to work, or it
may not be SLI Compatible, Im uncertain.

Does device manager see both your cards btw?
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Run memtest again, following this tutorial.
Run for 8 passes and test each stick in a know good slot for an additional 6 passes.
    https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html
       Tip
Run these tests overnight, and pay particular attention to number 3

The goal is to test all the RAM sticks and all the motherboard slots.

    cheers

The 314.22 drivers have the sli option, both cards were picked up in 306.23 but it had no sli option which has happened for people.Device manager shows both fine too now.

I uninstalled Creative Media Source plus the 2 Creative Live files(Dolby Digital and something else forgot name of but 2nd gave me a bsod after uninstalling saying a register error?).The bsod was:

Good work...and thanks for the feedback. Hopefully those 314.22 drivers will
remain stable. If you have Nividia Updater running, best to disable as it will
at some point update your drivers again to the latest.
Interesting that the 306.23 drivers don't support SLI, I learned something :)

Post up the latest log and I will take a look at it for you.:

    C:\Windows\Minidump\071713-10545-03.dmp

    STOP 0x00000051: REGISTRY_ERROR
Usual causes: Hardware failure, File system corruption, Security issues

Did you test both GPU's with Furmark?

Run SFC to check the integrity of all Windows 7 system files:
Click on the Start > Type in search cmd
Right click cmd at top and Run as Administrator
Type SFC /scannow at the prompt
(Note: there is a space between SFC and /scannow)

    https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html

       Note
Select option two. If any problems are found, run the scan 3 times and immediately reboot the computer after each scan.

Also ensure you have all the latest Windows Updates installed.

    Cheers

Yeah furmark went through fine for about 10mins, should be enough, enabled it to 1920x1080 res and 8xmsaa too gpus hit 99% useage each.

The latest minidmp is attached now below.

I did the SFC scan thing got an error about some corrupted files with details being included in CBS.log

What shall i do from here? reboot and do scan again or is there any way to fix it?(it has given me no options too)

    Thanks

Run SFC three times with immediate reboot inbetween, if it doesn't fix (chances are it may well not)
then post up the CBSlogs after it has ran.

In the meantime I will look at your latest log.

    cheers
