updated to:

Also look to update all device drivers to latest version, where possible:

Please test your wireless if none of the updates / tests fix your issue,
if you have a wireless on/off switch, then turn off the wireless.
You will have to connect an Ethernet cable to connect to the internet via the router..
If you do not have a switch, then navigate to:
Start>Computer>System Properties, and click Device Manager in the left pane.
Expand Network adapters and right click and disable your Wireless Adapter.
Now use the computer as normal with the Ethernet cable, does your issue remain?
