Now you need to follow the guidance of this post: Stop 0x124 - what it means and what to try .
So it crashed hard the other day, so I couldn't even restore it through the system image.
It was saying that files in my registry were corrupted (see screenshot). And I had restore it through the recent backup.
All the drivers are up to date including BIOS.
What would be the net step at this point?
A system restore failed due to corrupt registry .... where the corrupt registry is relating to the display driver.
Can you boot the computer? If not, try booting without the GPU ... using the onboard graphics. Does it work?
I was able to recover it. It's working fine since then, but I feel like I living with a time bomb - not sure when it's going to go BOOM again.
I think you need to follow Stop 0x124 - what it means and what to try . Entirely, one by one. A stop 0x124 needs a hard work to determine what is causing the issue.
