My ongoing Windows 7 freeze part 3

    Were you playing it in a browser? Firefox seems to freeze quite often with me recently.

    Keep using that port for a while, and report any other freezes.

    I mainly use Chrome for music Grooveshark and Youtube.

    I haven't used Google Chrome for least 6 months, so I wouldn't be able to comment on it's stability.

    Any more freezes?

    No freezes so far but im still looking out for any problems, you seem to spot on with the SATA port

    If you need all the ports working, then you will need to get a new motherboard unfortunately.

    Ah also one of my friends has the same problem I do and he has an ASUS Mobo too, his symptoms were very much alike to mine.

    It may be a problem with a that particular model, have you checked the support page for any BIOS updates which may have been released to solve this problem? It may be worth searching for reviews about the motherboard, and see if even more people are having the same problem with that model.

    I had a look now at anything closely related and couldn't find much but I did freeze up again, this was during me streaming on twitch using OBS Open broadcaster software.
    Not sure if this thread is still valid though.
