Well I unticked everything except the Video Drivers... gave me a installation failed but managed to work somehow.

    Hmm

That would very well be with the apps like CCC, hydravision and ATItool we removed..

Since we have issues with MSE as well..

Mind I say... you do clean install

    Hi Centaur,

Did a reinstall of Windows. Attempted to install ATI drivers without CCC installed, got the same installation failed but for some reason it decided to just install the video drivers anyway. Reinstalling all my games, hoping this goes well.

Will reply in this thread in a couple of days. Should I try to reinstall directx? I checked DxDiag and it was already DX11.

Thats not needed.. the latest version is already installed and if any update is there the are done via windows update.

Do be careful to check the updates prior to installation... some of the optional updates are driver update for your hardware... uncheck them before you install...

Hey, pleased to (not really but hey) inform all that the BSODs have stopped, I'm able to open up games without crashing and everything's good and dandy.

    Solution? Reformat the computer

    Well good to hear that

and yes its partly reformat and partly updating your Bios and removing unwanted software.

If you feel the issue is resolved please mark the thread as Solved.

    And do REP those helped.
