Your laptop comes shipped with Vista, yet you have a Windows 7 Ultimate OEM_SLP key for Asus? This doesn't make sense at all.
At the bottom of your laptop or inside the battery compartment, what is the operating system name? Do not post the 25-character product key.
http://www.asus.com/Notebooks_Ultrab...specifications
it says OS: FREE DOS
it didn't come with any operating system, a person in the shop where I bought it installed Windows XP and it was working fine for almost 4 years. until recently when I started having problems with downloading and installing .exe files. I took it in for repair and the person over there installed Windows 7 (few days ago). And that's how my problems started :|
Should I just bring it back to them and tell them about my problem and let them fix it (properly this time).
I'll post this report -writhziden said:
