Here's a ss of Speccy after playing GW2 for about an hour.
Edit: Took another look, CPU has gone up a bit (kelpto-temp2)

If it's a Desktop, ensure that:
    - the video card cooler is free of dust/clogs
    - the video card has adequate power and that the connectors are firmly seated
    - the video card cooler fan is working/moves freely
    - the video card has adequate cool airflow (as it passes through the case). You can test this by opening the case and pointing a house fan at the video card.

If it's a Laptop, blow out all vents with canned air (don't use an air compressor or a vacuum as they can cause damage) and ensure that the fan is working. Place the laptop on a hard surface when using it (or use a cooling pad).
Apply new thermal paste to the CPU.

I ran the Prime95 test for a bit, and my CPU temp got up to 80C. I'll have a look at getting some thermal paste during the week.
Thanks for your help so far!

    Hello again,

I finally got around to getting some thermal paste, but after cleaning and applying it, IntelBurnTest still gets it up to around 72C before I kill it. This was straight after I applied the paste though, so it might need some sort of waiting period? I'll look into getting a new CPU cooler if this keeps up.

With IBT 72C is fine, the max (Tjmax) for that CPU is 101C. IT should not get so hot with Prime95 though unless you have the newest version. If using the stock CPU cooler, throw it away and get a good one. Let us know your budget and what case you have and we can make recommendations.

To better help us to help you would you please add your systems specs? Here's the correct way to do it. :SystemInfo See Your System Specs Under System Manufacturer/Model Number add whether it is a desktop or laptop and whether self built. Very important

Log in to Seven Forums and you will be able to transfer the info directly to the specs page in your profile from within the System Info app.

    Your System Specs here.

After doing this your specs will be available in each of your posts.
Click on My system Specs in the lower left of this post to see how it should look.:)
Full instructions are in the tutorial.

I've updated my specs using SystemInfo.
It is a custom build (my first ever as well), but it was worked perfectly up until a couple of weeks ago when I started getting blue screens (I have had it for over a year).
The cooler is just the stock one, my case is a Cooler Master HAF912 (so mid-size). Budget is probably <$50, although I'm not sure what's what when it comes to CPU coolers.

It seems the case is 9" wide so should accommodate a decent cooler. To be sure, measure from the surface of the CPU to the side panel, less 1/4", 7MM would be the tallest cooler you can use.
I have a mate in OZ who uses this place. The first one is what I have.

    Back again....

I bought and installed a new CPU cooler, which seems to have done the trick regarding my high temps (I did a standard IBT and highest was 58-59C).
However, I got another blue screen, this time code DE (minidump attached). I think this said something about having to do with a driver?
I have run driver verifier previously and couldn't even get past the windows logo before I got a blue screen.

I think the problem may be in my CPU
I decided to try IntelBurnTest again and it passed the standard and high tests, however while running very high I got a blue screen (minidump attached).
