    Frequent crashes

After leaving my computer on, I frequently come back to find it shut off. When I try to restart, I get the safe mode startup option, asking if I want to start in safe mode. Diagnostics are attached. This is an HP laptop, although all those details should be in the attached. Any help would be most appreciated.

First, we want to make sure the computer is saving your dump files. Go to Control Panel -> System -> Advanced System Settings -> Startup and Recovery [Settings] Make sure that "Write Debugging Information" is set to Small Memory Dump (256kb) if it is not already.
Next, make sure that the folder C:\Windows\Minidump exists. If not, create it (allow permission if asked). Make sure any dumps you want to analyze, whether yours or others', are in this folder. You can ZIP/RAR the files and send them to someone else to analyze as well.

Please 'Grab all' and upload a new zip:

OK, thanks! I've made those changes and will wait for the next BSOD, then re-collect and re-upload.

    still no minidump

I find no contents in the minidump, although it appears the computer crashed just before I took this snapshot.

I also noticed that c:\Minidump folder was marked "Read Only" (which I have since changed). Still, I would have thought a system function like providing a minidump would have ignored that flag.

Grateful if you can find any information in what I am posting. If not, I'll keep crossing my fingers for the minidump next crash.

    Reduce items at start up:
Antivirus software is basically whats just needed there.

Uninstall any current antivirus installed on your system. Replace with Microsoft Security Essentials & the Free version of Malwarebytes, update and make full scans separately:
    • Do not start the trial version of MalwareBytes
