    How do I do that BIOS controller thing? Sorry i am very bad with this kind of stuff..

    Hey, how do I boot into BIOS and change the controller? can you give me instructions on how to do so? Sorry I am terrible with this sort of stuff!

    Your manual is here ... get it, check the chapter "Setup Utility (BIOS) and System Diagnostics.

    In the BIOS menu I couldnt find anything to change the controllers, but I did disable the intel rapid start technology. Now what?

    Was there anything about SATA modes?

    Actually every BIOS has a different setup, so it becomes difficult to instruct.

    Anyway, at this point of time you may go for the clean reinstall.

    Nah, there was nothing. The things I could change were very limited. I will do that full reinstall now.

    Do what stated in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7.
