    There is a fair chance; but before deciding, monitor the temps. In normal state, in high load ... say one hour of a steam session and in stress test. Let us know those. Temps may cause those issue, and if it is not the CPU itself but the temps, then temps are controllable.

    Dismantle the computer. Clean the inside very carefully. Clean all the fan grills, air vents, so that it can glow the hot air out efficiently.

    While re-seating the computer, apply new thermal paste to the CPU.


    Now, monitor the temps again .... and observe the situation. Does it behave the same?

    Hi Arc,

    It's not the heat apparently. So I've contacted the shop and brought in the computer.
    They think that the CPU is causing the problems. I'll keep you posted :)

    Conclusion: although it was not the heat, it turned out it actually is the heat. Added new cooling and temperature dropped with 30°C. Thanks for the help.
